Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains your rights and our commitments regarding payments, cancellations, and refunds for ShieldOps AI subscriptions. By subscribing to the Service, you agree to the terms below.

Scope

This policy applies to all paid subscriptions (monthly and annual) for ShieldOps AI. Refunds are processed to the original payment method only — never in cash or alternative forms. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Money-Back Guarantee (First Subscription Only)

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription only. If you are not satisfied within 14 days of the first payment date, you may request a full refund. This guarantee applies once per customer and covers the initial payment only — not renewals. Refunds are not available if your usage during the guarantee period is commercially unreasonable (e.g., scanning hundreds of repositories and then requesting a refund). We reserve the right to evaluate usage patterns before approving a guarantee refund.

When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are not available in the following cases: (1) Renewal payments after the 14-day guarantee period has expired — you may cancel to stop future renewals, but prior payments will not be refunded; (2) Subscriptions purchased before the effective date of this policy, except in exceptional cases at our discretion; (3) Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, including abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized use of the platform; (4) Any fees charged by third-party payment providers that are non-refundable (e.g., chargeback fees, currency conversion fees); (5) Partial refunds for unused time within a billing period outside the guarantee window.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@shieldops.ai from the email address associated with your account. Include: (1) Your account email and full name; (2) The transaction ID or invoice number from your payment receipt; (3) A brief reason for the request (optional but helps us improve). We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and process your request within 7–14 business days after approval.

Processing Time and Payment Method

Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method used for the transaction. Processing typically takes 7–14 business days from the date of approval, depending on your payment provider and card-issuing bank. Your payment provider may apply additional processing time before the amount appears in your account. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or banks.

Cancellation and Future Renewals

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops all future renewals and billing. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for payments already made, except as described in the 14-day money-back guarantee above. After cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period, then downgrade to the free tier (if available) or become restricted.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
